November 2026 is Dubai’s busiest month for car events: the Icons of Porsche festival, the Automechanika trade show and the 1000 Miglia rally opening weekend all fall in it, with free informal meets at JBR and The CARS Café alongside.
Most cities get one motor show a year, if that. Dubai has a rotating calendar of festivals, concours, trade shows and informal meets, mostly between October and February. Some events are ticketed, like Icons of Porsche. Others cost nothing, like an evening on the JBR promenade. This guide covers what is confirmed for late 2026, what returns every year without announced dates, and where to look at cars tonight.
Dubai Car Events at a Glance
Why Dubai Draws Car Lovers Year-Round
Three things stack up in Dubai’s favour: a large resident supercar population (rental fleets like ours included), a steady calendar of automotive events, and wide roads such as Jumeirah Beach Road and Sheikh Zayed Road, where the evening traffic is itself a kind of rolling car show. Add a car-mad expat community, a dedicated car café and a tourism season that peaks while much of the world is cold and wet, and «is there a car meet today» usually gets a yes.
Helpful tipIf you are building a trip around one festival, check the organiser’s page for the latest dates and ticket details before you book flights or a car. Dates for events several months out can still move.

Icons of Porsche 2026: Dubai’s Big Porsche Festival
If you only make time for one ticketed car event in Dubai in November 2026, this is the one people fly in for. Icons of Porsche returns for its sixth edition, moving to a new home at The Square, Nad Al Sheba. The 2025 edition drew more than 30,000 visitors and over 1,000 Porsches, and Porsche describes it as the region’s largest automotive festival.
What to Expect at The Square, Nad Al Sheba
Expect a huge field of Porsches, a motorsport display marking 75 years of Porsche racing, an art exhibition, live music, food trucks and family activities. It is less a static motor show and more a festival that happens to be entirely about one brand, closer in spirit to a music festival than a trade fair. Arriving in a Porsche from our fleet suits the theme: we have several 911 variants and the Cayenne.
Tickets and Timings
The organiser lists gate hours of 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM. A ticket costs AED 85, and children under 12 enter free with an adult’s ticket. Buy through the official Icons of Porsche ticket page.
Helpful tipGates open at 4:00 PM, so arrive early if you want daylight photos of the static displays, then stay for golden hour. The low November light in Dubai is soft and warm, which flatters a parked car.

1000 Miglia Experience UAE: A Classic Rally Across the UAE
The 1000 Miglia Experience UAE is the one event on this list that moves through the whole country rather than sitting at a single venue. Marking its fifth anniversary, the 2026 edition opens with a public showcase at DIFC on the opening weekend in late November, then follows a multi-day route across all seven emirates and finishes in Dubai in early December. The route takes in Jebel Jais, a desert stage at Tilal Swaihan and Jebel Hafeet, with a stop at the Al Ain oasis.
From DIFC to Jebel Jais and the Desert
The rally itself runs on public roads and through city centres. The DIFC opening weekend is open to the public; check the organiser’s event page for entry details and the daily route. If timing matters to you, the opening days at DIFC are the easiest to plan around; on the road days it is about being in the right place at the right time.
Three Classes, One Red Arrow
Entries split into three classes: the original 1000 Miglia Class for cars built between 1927 and 1957, Classic Icons for later classics, and Contemporary Icons for modern-era cars. The Contemporary Icons class is the closest in spirit to the grand tourers you can rent in Dubai today, such as a Ferrari Roma or a modern 911.
VerdictIf you love the idea of a 1950s Mille Miglia but prefer modern comfort, the realistic way to share the atmosphere is to arrive in a grand tourer from today’s fleet.

Automechanika and Custom Show Emirates: Industry Season
Not every event on Dubai’s car calendar is built for spectators with a camera. Two fixtures in the second half of the year focus on the industry and on custom builds, and they are worth knowing about if you are in Dubai for other car events nearby.
Automechanika Dubai: The Trade Side of Car Culture
Automechanika Dubai is a trade show for industry visitors, not an open public event. The 23rd edition runs for three days in November 2026 at the Dubai Exhibition Centre in Expo City, after 22 editions at the Dubai World Trade Centre. The organiser calls it the largest international trade show for the automotive aftermarket industry in the Middle East and Africa. Think workshop equipment, detailing products and aftermarket parts rather than red-carpet reveals. Visitors register through the organiser’s website.
Custom Show Emirates: Tuning and Custom Builds
Custom Show Emirates is a dedicated show for custom and modified cars at the Dubai Exhibition Centre. It is usually held in October; the 2025 edition ran in October at the same venue. As of November 2026 we could not confirm 2026 dates, so check the organiser’s website for dates and ticket details before building a trip around it.
Event details come from the organisers and official calendars: Porsche Newsroom and iconsofporsche.com, Messe Frankfurt’s Automechanika page, the 1000 Miglia website, The CARS Café website and Dubai World Trade Centre’s 2026 events calendar. Dubai’s events calendar shifts from year to year, and some events (Gulf Concours, Custom Show Emirates) had no confirmed 2026 dates as of November 2026. Where we could not confirm something, we say so instead of guessing.
Free Car Meets: The CARS Café, JBR and Dubai Marina
You do not have to wait for a festival. Dubai has informal car spots you can visit on an ordinary day, and watching costs nothing.
The CARS Café at Dubai Autodrome
The CARS Café sits in the paddock at Dubai Autodrome in Motor City and is open daily from 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM. Car clubs can reserve its car park for free to meet over coffee, which makes it a dedicated cars-and-coffee spot you can visit any day. Club meets are friendlier if you are part of a club, but you can simply turn up and look.
JBR, Dubai Marina and Downtown After Dark
For the «is there a car meet in Dubai today» crowd: on many evenings the JBR Walk and the Dubai Marina promenade have exotic cars parked up, and the scene picks up after sunset, when the heat drops and the light gets better for photos. Downtown Dubai, around Boulevard and the Dubai Mall valet area, is another spot. It is less a dedicated meet and more a side effect of where people who own or rent these cars go in the evening. We deliver to JBR too, so your car can be waiting where the evening starts.
Helpful tipIf you are renting for an evening meet, a yellow, orange or white car often photographs better under streetlights than dark grey or black, which tend to lose their shape in low light.

Club Cruises on Friday Evenings
Several car clubs organise group drives through the Marina and JBR area on Friday evenings, as the weekend begins, bringing a group of cars out at once instead of a static display. If you want to be part of the atmosphere, a convertible with the top down is a good way to enjoy the evening air. Meet at the venue and drive at a normal speed.
Helpful tipKeep the engine noise down around these areas. Dubai Police stepped up noise checks in 2026: a loud vehicle costs AED 2,000 and 12 black points, and unauthorised engine or chassis modifications bring AED 1,000, 12 black points and 30 days of impoundment.

Gulf Concours and Dubai’s Boutique Concours Scene
Alongside the big public festivals, Dubai has a smaller, quieter circuit of concours-style events built around rare and classic cars rather than crowds.
Gulf Concours at Burj Al Arab
The Gulf Concours is an invite-only gathering of up to fifty of the region’s rarest supercars and classics, shown on the terrace of the Burj Al Arab. Recent editions were held in December, and the 2026 date has not been announced. It is not a walk-up public event, but it is part of why Dubai’s car culture has the reputation it does.
Concorso Italiano UAE and The Grand Picnic
Smaller, community-run events fill in around the big names. Concorso Italiano UAE gathers Italian cars and heritage brands for a day on the coast; the 2026 edition took place in February at Dubai Marine Beach Resort & Spa. The Grand Picnic is a far more casual, family-oriented meet at Safa Park, closer to a weekend picnic with interesting cars parked around it than a formal show. Its sixth edition, in February 2026, brought more than 1,000 vehicles. Both events are likely to return in February 2027, but dates have not been announced yet. Between these and the free evening meets, enthusiasts who want their fix of sport cars rarely wait long between events.
VerdictThe exclusive concours events are worth knowing about even if you cannot get in, but the free, public meets are where most visitors will spend their car-watching time.

Planning Your Visit: Tickets, Dates and Getting There
A few practical notes if you are building a trip, or just an evening, around any of this.
Best Season for Car Events in Dubai
Nearly everything on this list clusters between October and February, because that is when Dubai’s weather makes an outdoor festival or an evening drive pleasant rather than something you endure. November is the busiest month: Automechanika, Icons of Porsche and the 1000 Miglia opening weekend each have their own dates, so with some planning you can fit more than one into a single trip.
Getting to the Venues
The Square at Nad Al Sheba, Dubai Exhibition Centre and DIFC are in different parts of the city, so plan transport separately for each. For Icons of Porsche, check IconsOfPorsche.com for parking and transport updates. Allow extra time at festival-scale events, since car parks can fill up.
Book Your Car to Match the Occasion
Whichever event you are headed to, arriving in something that fits the mood is half the fun. We run a fleet of 450+ cars across 30+ brands, with no deposit, 24/7 service and handover in about 20 minutes, so you can book a luxury car for festival weekend without long planning. Delivery in Dubai is free from AED 10,000; otherwise it is AED 185 (09:00–21:00) or AED 235 (21:00–09:00) plus 5% VAT, and from AED 250 to DXB airport. For festival weekends it is worth reserving a little earlier than usual.
FAQ: Car Shows and Meets in Dubai
When is the Dubai Motor Show in 2026?
The classic Dubai International Motor Show was rebranded into the outdoor festival #NoFilterDXB in 2021. The Dubai World Trade Centre’s 2026 events calendar lists no motor show, and no 2026 edition of either format has been announced. The big public car festival this autumn is Icons of Porsche (November 2026). Automechanika Dubai, also in November, is a trade show for industry visitors, not an open public event.
Is there a car meet in Dubai today?
Quite possibly something informal. The CARS Café at Dubai Autodrome is open daily from 8am to 8:30pm and lets car clubs reserve its car park for meetups, and the JBR Walk and Dubai Marina promenade often have exotic cars parked up on many evenings, usually busiest on Thursday and Friday.
Do I need tickets for car shows in Dubai?
It depends on the event. Icons of Porsche is ticketed (AED 85 per ticket on IconsOfPorsche.com). Automechanika is a trade show where visitors register through the organiser. For Custom Show Emirates and the 1000 Miglia’s DIFC opening weekend, check the organiser’s page for entry details. Informal meets such as The CARS Café, JBR and Dubai Marina don’t require tickets.
Can I bring a rental supercar to a car show or meet in Dubai?
Yes, rented cars are a normal sight at road-based shows and informal evening meets such as JBR or Dubai Marina. Normal road rules and your rental agreement apply as on any other drive, including Dubai’s noise limits and rules on modified vehicles.
What is the best time of year for car events in Dubai?
October through February, when cooler weather makes outdoor festivals and evening drives comfortable. November is the densest month in 2026: Automechanika, Icons of Porsche and the 1000 Miglia’s DIFC opening weekend each have their own dates within it.
Where do car enthusiasts gather in Dubai?
The CARS Café at Dubai Autodrome, the JBR Walk, the Dubai Marina promenade and Downtown Dubai’s Boulevard area are the most consistent spots, alongside club group drives on Friday evenings. Among ticketed events, Icons of Porsche and the 1000 Miglia are the main enthusiast draws in late 2026.
