The Nissan 400Z reinvents Nissan’s Z-car heritage. In Ikazuchi Yellow, this sports car brings together vintage design cues with cutting-edge engineering.
The 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6, shared with the GT-R development team, produces 400 HP. Small-diameter turbochargers reduce lag while providing maximum response. The 9-speed transmission features an advanced launch control system with wheel spin detection. A mechanical limited-slip differential helps put power down while enhancing cornering stability.
The chassis features increased structural rigidity through additional seam welding and a larger tunnel brace. Enhanced body bonding techniques reduce flex by 10.8%. The monotube shock absorbers with new valve designs provide better damping control. The electric power steering system offers a faster ratio than previous Z models for quicker response.
The unique triple-pod gauge cluster displays turbo boost, turbo speed, and voltage — a nod to the 240Z’s original design. The 12.3-inch digital dashboard changes layout with each driving mode. The seats feature special anti-slip material in the center sections to hold you in place during high-G cornering.
