Why hire the Lixiang L9
The Lixiang L9 operates almost entirely on electric power in city traffic, holding cabin noise to 40–43 dB at idle — the level of a quiet office. At 60–70 km/h it remains measurably quieter than a Toyota Land Cruiser or BMW X7. That silence is not incidental. It is engineered.
The Magic Carpet air suspension reads road conditions 60,000 times per minute and adjusts 6,000 times per minute, absorbing Dubai’s speed bumps in JVC and Dubai Hills without transferring impact to passengers. When sensors detect an obstacle ahead, ride height shifts automatically by up to 40 mm. Inside: Nappa leather across all three rows, five touchscreens, dual 15.7-inch OLED displays for the second row, individually ventilated seats, and in-door aromatherapy diffusers. The 449 HP AWD drivetrain covers 0–100 km/h in 5.8 seconds — composed, not dramatic.
Ideal Scenarios for the Lixiang L9
The L9 carries six passengers across three rows. With all seats occupied, the boot holds 242 liters — enough for 2–3 checked bags. Fold the third row and capacity expands to 640 liters. If your group travels with full-size luggage, this is the right vehicle.
The second-row VIP zone has power-reclining seats with 12-point massage, a fold-out entertainment monitor, and near-silent electric propulsion. Clients arrive composed regardless of what’s happening on Sheikh Zayed Road.
The extended-range hybrid system delivers over 1,100 km of combined range. In electric-dominant urban driving, fuel consumption drops to 1–2 liters per 100 km. You won’t need to plan around charging stops.
Three-zone climate control, individual rear screens, and the Magic Carpet suspension reduce fatigue for children and adults alike during Dubai’s summer heat. The L9 is genuinely built for this.

Request the second-row configuration with individual screens — it effectively eliminates the «are we there yet?» loop on the Abu Dhabi highway or the Dubai–Al Ain road.
Lixiang L9 vs. the Competition
The L9 sits directly in the full-size premium family SUV segment, alongside the BMW X7 and the Mercedes GLS.
The L9 produces 449 HP versus 340 HP in the standard X7, with a 5.8-second 0–100 sprint. The more relevant difference for most passengers is the rear cabin: dual OLED 3K displays in the second row versus the X7’s standard screen setup. In-cabin noise at urban speeds is lower by a measurable margin.
The GLS delivers 367 HP and carries no hybrid powertrain in its base configuration. The L9’s extended-range system offers over 1,100 km of range — roughly three times the GLS’s range between stops in mixed Dubai traffic. Second-row massage, OLED screens, and a gesture-controlled sunroof all come as standard on the L9.
Both European alternatives are available in the Brook Drive fleet. The L9 makes sense when rear-seat comfort, onboard technology, and range matter most.
