Best for long legs: Mustang and Camaro
If your height is mostly in your legs, these two American coupes give you the most room to stretch out.
Ford Mustang: the most front legroom
The Ford Mustang offers the most front legroom among the traditional sports coupes in this guide: 113.0 cm (44.5 in) in the S650 generation, with 95.5 cm (37.6 in) of headroom. That suits drivers with long legs and an average torso. The Dark Horse coupe in our fleet is an S650 car, so it is the closest match to these figures. Chevrolet Camaro: roomy legs, low visibility
The Chevrolet Camaro has 111.5 cm (43.9 in) of front legroom and 97.8 cm (38.5 in) of headroom, so long legs rarely feel cramped. The trade-off is visibility: the beltline is high and the roofline low, so you sit low in the car and the view at traffic lights and in tight city streets is limited. Keep that in mind if you will mostly drive in busy areas.

BMW M4: the most front headroom
The BMW M4 has the most front headroom of the cars here: 102.4 cm (40.3 in) in the coupe and about 103 cm (40.6 in) in the convertible with the roof closed, with 105.9 cm (41.7 in) of legroom. Our M4s come as coupes and convertibles, and fit differs from car to car, so check the driving position at handover.
Porsche 911: low body, solid headroom
The Porsche 911 (992 generation) has 101.1 cm (39.8 in) of front headroom, close to the M4, in a low sports-car body. Legroom is not published on the same basis as for the other cars, so the table leaves it out. A glass roof takes some headroom, so ask the team about the roof of the car you plan to rent.

Dodge Challenger: the spacious muscle car
The Dodge Challenger is built on a large sedan platform, which gives it a roomier cabin than most coupes: 99.8 cm (39.3 in) of headroom and 106.7 cm (42.0 in) of legroom. It is a comfortable long-distance car for tall drivers, and the fleet ranges from the 305 HP versions to the Hellcat Redeye. Minimum age and experience depend on the car, and the Hellcat Redeye asks for age 25 and 5 years of experience.
BMW M8 Competition: the grand touring giant
The BMW M8 Competition is a large front-engine grand tourer with 98.8 cm (38.9 in) of headroom and 106.9 cm (42.1 in) of legroom. The cabin is wide and built for long drives, so it suits tall drivers who want supercar pace without a tight, low-slung layout.
Audi RS5 Sportback: a sporty, lower seating position
The Audi RS5 Sportback has 95.8 cm (37.7 in) of front headroom and 104.1 cm (41.0 in) of legroom. The lower seating position gives a sporty driving posture, but headroom is at the lower end of this list, so check it first if you are tall in the seat. The back seat suits average-height adults best.

How to check the fit before you rent
Numbers only tell part of the story. A car can list 100 cm of headroom and still feel tight if the seat does not slide back far enough or the steering wheel does not reach.
Seat and steering wheel reach
Legroom and steering reach work as a chain. The seat slides back to fit your legs, the wheel has to follow, and if it does not extend far enough you end up stretching for the rim. Check both when you collect the car, before you drive away.
Getting in and out
Low sports cars have wide door sills and low rooflines. A quick get-in and get-out test at handover tells you more than any dimension on a spec sheet.
Supercars and mid-engine cars
